Ron Olsen is an effective project leader and expert problem solver with advanced technical skills. He has had extensive experience in electrical utility interconnection management and processes of utility scale resources.
Ron’s advanced understanding of utility communications protocols has enabled him to work directly with clients, generation owners, field personnel, outage coordinators, as well as utilities’ interconnection staff to achieve successful completion of new and existing generator resources for various companies throughout California and the Western United States. He has a highly technical background with SCADA, RTUs and testing, and a complete understanding of the CAISO tariff for telemetry and metering, as well as CAISO outage coordination requirements.
