GridSME is proud to announce the addition of the Western Interstate Energy Board (WIEB) as a GridSME client. WIEB is an organization of 12 western states and three western Canadian provinces, which are associate members of the Board. WIEB serves as the energy arm or energy affiliate of the Western Governors’ Association but is structurally independent. WIEB is also very closely tied to the Western Interconnection Regional Advisory Body (WIRAB) which advises the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) on policy and budget issues.
GridSME is providing consulting services to WIEB regarding operational best practices and the reliability of the Western Interconnection.
